It has been 19 years since “Pirates of the Caribbean” hit theaters and —in its wake— fell in love with thousands of viewers, especially thanks to the charismatic interpretation of Johnny Depp In the role of Jack Sparrow. The great success of this first installment led to the arrival of new and exciting sequels, to which the actor fortunately returned.
Surely you are one of those fans who know all the curious facts and the most hidden secrets of the Disney franchise; however, a deleted scene from one of the films has gained great popularity in recent hours because it reveals part of the past of Sparrow and the origin of his enmity with Lord Cutler Beckett.

You won’t see Sparrow the same way
According to the SensaCine portal, the clip was specifically cut from “Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At the End of the World.” On the tape we see Sparrow having a conversation with Beckett. The latter tells the captain that he hired him years ago to take care of a shipment.
Given this, Jack replies: “People are not burden, friend.” This ‘package’ refers to a group of 100 slaves that the protagonist chose to free and, as a consequence, the black pearl was cremated.
These details show the human side of Sparrow, who is usually presented as selfish, eccentric and manipulative, in addition to finally extending the reasons why he constantly confronts Beckett. At least this deleted scene confirms the good heart of the pirate, despite what many think.
