Mobilize is the Renault group company that will deal with 360-degree mobility services, including the rental of specific cars that will be paid for with short-term subscription formulas. By mobility we mean, as the founding principle of this company, the electric one. At the head of this brand there is Clotilde Delbos, a long-time executive of Renault: he knows that mobility is a fertile ground, which however many want to aspire to.
“Mobilize wants mobility not necessarily linked to the purchase but rather the use of services. We will do what is called a car subscription. Customers want flexibility, a subscription with a maximum duration of three months, which covers every eventuality, with the possibility of canceling it, with the option of keeping the same vehicle or changing it. We are studying different formulas. We want mobility free from any burden. Our future vehicles, including the small quadricycle Mobilize Duo, will need to be made up of 50% recycled components and be 95% recyclable. We have a precise orientation on the second life of batteries, we know they last longer than we initially thought, so we try to invent new uses, for example for mobile charging of generators. It is also possible to extract rare materialsDelbos said as reported by Corriere della Sera.
All this, however, cannot take place without the blessed columns. The CEO explains: “Too many free-access charging infrastructures are still lacking. In urban centers, circulation will become mainly electric in a short time, there is no other choice. With our subsidiary Mobilize Power Solutions, we meet municipalities and operators, offer our advice to install stations or work for them, managing them directly. We try to explain how, with an electric vehicle, you can save, even on recharging with the Charge Passes that we will also develop in Italy“.
