«Sevillistas, in view of the statement from Shareholders United, I am obliged to state:
1. That from the first of the meetings held with its representatives, I showed myself willing to reach an agreement for the governance of the club.
2. That the proposal of my group, never forgetting that it controls the majority of the share capital of Sevilla FC SAD, has always been in favor of the agreement and participation of all shareholder groups in the board of directors in proportion to the capital that each group represents, as established by Law.
3. In these negotiations we have come to accept entering the club’s management bodies without having the majority of them.
4. That, as Shareholders United can certify – to whom I thank their interest and the work carried out in order to seek an agreement from all parties for the good of the club – have been the demands of the Carrión, Alés, Guijarro and Castro, contrary to the previous point, those that have prevented any type of agreement.
5. That we remain open to avoid the destruction of Seville to which the current families are galloping us, to reach an agreement, today better than tomorrow, in the sense expressed.”
