The star who played the villain of Daredevil Vincent D’Onofrio shared through his social networks a sincere congratulations to Charlie cox, after its continuation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was confirmed.
D´Onofrio’s tweet was published after the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, confirmed the return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil and part of the MCU. “If you saw Daredevil in upcoming productions, Charlie Cox would be the actor who plays Dardevil”Feige said. “Where we will see that, how we see that, when we see that remains to be seen,” he concluded.

Who is Charlie Cox?
The actor played Matt Murdock throughout three seasons of Daredevil on Netflix. He worked alongside D’Onofrio, who played the huge crime boss Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin. However, despite positive criticism of the series, Daredevil was canceled in 2018, along with the rest of Netflix’s Marvel Television series.
Not long after the cancellation, it was reported that the characters from Netflix’s deleted shows could become part of Marvel Studios, as the rights contract ended in November 2020. In that regard, rumors have begun to circulate that Matt Murdock would appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s lawyer.
