Martínez got into a breakaway of 11 runners, alongside Vlasov, Chaves and himself William Martin, who came to define victory.
“I lived in these places for a long time and knew the route well. The last climb was tough, because we spent a lot,” said Martínez.
The Ineos cyclist managed to get around the last part, he was in charge of leading the chase over Vlasov, they caught up with him and on the final slope he finished them off.
“I dedicate the victory to the people who accompanied me for several years here, to my family. I had to reach Alexsandr Vlasov, because in the packaging I asked him to gabnar”, he sentenced.
Daniel Martinez adjusted his fourth victory of the year, as he won the national time trial championship, won a stage and won the title in the Tour of the Basque Country and now he triumphs in the Coppa.
