Dani Olmo was the godfather of the 23rd edition of the Micfootball 2025, International Base Football Tournament that is played in different municipalities of the province of Girona. On this occasion 444 teams from 44 different countries will participate and will have 59 fields. Last year the economic impact of the tournament amounted to 14 million euros and this year is expected to be even greater. One of the main novelties will be the new Ott of the tournament, a digital television that will offer 400 games. In total, 43 municipalities collaborate with a must of international training football.
Dani Olmo participated in three editions of the MIC as a player and although he never won the tournament, he acknowledged that it was a great experience for him. “The best memory is not the photo with the cup because I did not win any. But the final of fry in Palamós against Atlético was special. Mark a goal but we lost 4-2. The experience marks you for a lifetime. They are the tournaments that everyone wants to participate and win. And it is an experience that marks you forever,” he explained.
