D’Alema, the Colombian contact: former paramilitary sentenced to 40 years
The case of the arms sales at the Colombia that overwhelmed Massimo D’Alema continue to hold the ground. The former premier – we read about the Truth – said in recent days that he had been contacted by Colombian “political figures”. However, according to the newspaper directed by Belpietro, the person in question would be a former commander of Colombian paramilitary groups of extreme right. Edgar Ignacio Fierro Florezbetter known as Don Antonioit was also sentenced to 40 years to jail for his crimes, but to him D’Alema he addressed with deference.
D’Alema he would try with the Colombians to make one direct negotiation, this is what emerges from some messages exchanged with his collaborators. “The important thing is – the Truth reports – that Fincantieri and the Colombian Navy understand each other. Our goal is that after December 14th a direct negotiation will start. Do not forget that we are waiting for Leonardo’s invitation. Everything is fine, we only have the problem of the Colombian company that already has a contract with Leonardo, but we will solve it. It is absolutely necessary to avoid let the invitations go directly to companies“. In order not to lose the commissions.
