After two weeks of racing, Team Fantic Racing celebrates three bikes upon arrival. At the finish line, at the end of the last special – a 175 km Sprint – the team gathered around Tommaso Montanari, Jeremy Miroir and Jane Daniels. An incredible success for Fantic Motor, the only Italian company to compete in the toughest and most grueling rally in the world.
“It's a team success”, says Matilde Tomagnini from Yanbu. “Stage after stage we managed the unforeseen events and problems that arose. This result is the fruit of everyone's great work. I was moved to see Jeremy (Miroir) waiting for Jane (Daniels) at the end. He hugged her and simply said ' merci', thank you. Without your support, she wouldn't be here. Jane has proven herself to be the great champion she is. Immense. A natural fighter, she never gives up.”
“Well done Tommaso too, he put in a great performance. He wanted to demonstrate his value. I would like to thank the whole team, several people were taking part for the first time. It was a wonderful experience for them too. A special thanks to all Fantic who helped us supported by the office. Thanks to Mario Roman, who believed in this project from the beginning, to Filippo Roman, Giacomo Folador, Stefano Salmaso, Edoardo Gaffo, Antonio Di Dino, and the entire racing department. Together we did a great job Miracles exist,” he added.

Jane Daniels, awarded as best performer of the “Dakar Spirit”, also won the women's category, finishing 48th in the stage and overall: “I'm really happy. Happy to be at the finish line in one piece. It's the hardest race I've ever had. never raced: exhausting both physically and mentally. It's my first Dakar, I didn't really know what to expect, but I gave my best every day. I won the women's category, but I also wanted a good placing. The bike went very well The Dakar is a race that conquers you, we'll see each other again.”
Awarded as best rookie, Jeremy Miroir is also satisfied, after finishing 31st overall: “Thanks to the entire Fantic team. The bike went well, I did my best and I'm very happy to have finished my first participation. Now we have won the right to rest a bit. The best moment was the top 20 in the stage and the medal as best rookie. A great satisfaction. The worst when the stone hit the crankcase and Jane had to tow me for many kilometres. But this is the Dakar family.”
Tommaso Montanari stood out for his speed, 15th in the final special after leaving for the Dakar Experience. The best placings of the day among the Fantic riders are his: “We arrived in Yanbu and I am very satisfied. Difficulties are part of racing, they can happen, but we also managed them well. The team is wonderful, the bike too and I can't see the “It's time to prepare myself even better for 2025. The greatest satisfaction? Having finished in the top 20 in several stages. I worked all year for this result. The biggest difficulty? Managing emotions.”
