Dacia has activated the process of renewing the visual identity and the sales network in Italy, with the arrival of the new logo, more modern and ‘digital’. The headquarters of Renault Retail Group in Rome is the first pilot dealership to implement this step, modifying the external look of the structure as already happened in the Dacia infrastructures in France.

The new visual identity inaugurated with Renault Retail Group represents the first step in an evolution that will involve at least 40% of the Italian Dacia showrooms by the end of 2022. This is a fundamental step for the brand, which today in Italy is affirming itself as the foreign brand best-selling to individuals in the first quarter of 2022. The brand is evolving and also rapidly. I am proud to be able to lead the Dacia Italia Business Unit in this growth path, not only commercial, but also strongly linked to the brand image “said Guido Tocci, Managing Director of Dacia Italia.
The thick line khaki color which highlights the contours of the dealership building should embody the robustness, simplicity and outdoor character that Dacia wants to express. The letters are bright, with a white color to be visible at night. The large main totem will facilitate the identification of the Dacia brand. A second totem, positioned next to the entrance door, will welcome customers and provide practical information. The implementation of the new external signage on the network will progressively involve all showrooms and subsequently it will continue bringing the new standards also inside.
The letters have a deliberately minimalist and essential trait. Julie Bokhobza, Lead Designer responsible for visual identity, said: “To create the logo, we were inspired by objects taken from the worlds of the garage, of mechanics: gears, chains, tools. All objects to which the concepts of robustness, reliability and functionality are associated“. The new palette of colors and the iconographic approach refer to the proximity to nature and the outdoors.
