Dachshund attacks and devours part of woman's cheek in Wales

United Kingdom.- A creepy case became a trend on social networks, since a hot dog has left its mark on the life of a 45-year-old woman in Swansea, Wales, after attack her and tear off part of her cheek.

The Kelly Allen Story who was the victim of an animal attack that left her scarred for lifewas spread on social networks.

Kelly was visiting a friend's house. while they were sharing a drink, when it was at that moment that a dachshund attacked her in the face on March 15.

Her friend, the owner of the dachshundsaid the dog had never shown signs of aggression.

But that night, Kelly was sitting on the kitchen floor when the dog's behavior suddenly changed. and in a split second he lunged at her and sank his teeth into her cheek.

“He didn't bark or growl or make any noise.“He just lunged at my face and sunk his teeth deep into my cheek.”

Another friend ran into the kitchen and grabbed the dog by the collar., but their jaws were closed and they wouldn't let go. When she was able to free herself from it, she saw a large amount of blood and she was rushed to Morriston Hospital.

The sudden attack led to Allen undergoing a five-hour surgery and a half to reconstruct his face, requiring a total of 40 stitches. The police intervened at the scene and decided to euthanize the dog after evaluating what happened.

For Allen, a mother of two, the trauma of the event has left significant emotional scars.

Loss of self-esteem and difficulty returning to work are just some of the consequences he has faced.
