Cult of the Lamb reached one million players in the first week after its launch. The publisher Devolver Digital and the developer Massive Monster have announced this milestone on social media.
“A heartfelt thanks to all who have become believers in the past seven days. The team is excited for the future and will soon release an update roadmap in honor of The One Who Waits“reads the statement.
Cult of the Lamb arrived on the market with a number of bugs and graphical issues, as the developers had to admit. The team is working to prepare a series of bug fixes, enhancements and “general budget measures”, so players should expect a patch that could be coming soon.
Congrats to @MassiveMonsters and our dark lord The One Who Waits on selling one million copies of @CultOfTheLamb the first week!
Thanks to the community for the support and understanding as patches are lined up to update the game.

For those who still don’t know, Cult of the Lamb puts players in the role of a possessed lamb who is saved from destruction by a stranger and faces a debt to pay. In this way, the lamb must build a cult with a loyal following in his name.
Recently, through a podcast it was stated that Sony would pay the game’s developers not to make it to day one on Xbox Game Pass, but Devolver Digital said that there is nothing true.
