Cross country skiing Frida Karlsson’s day ended dramatically – a young Swedish ski star passed the reporters with special permission: “We don’t expose her to extra cold”

Fifth-placed Frida Karlsson froze badly after the women’s combined race.

As a medal favorite left for the women’s combined skiing on Saturday Frida Karlsson had to be disappointed.

Karlsson, 22, was expected to challenge Therese Johaugin in the battle for the Olympic victory, but the Swede was only fifth in the competition.

After a disappointment, Karlsson’s day went on dramatically. The Swede had chilled so badly that he was allowed not to come to the post-race interviews.
