A few hours ago Square Enix announced Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reuniona remake of the PSP game Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 from 2007.
This prequel to Final Fantasy 7 stars Zack and tells about some of the events faced in Cloud’s adventure; Zack Fair’s mission is to find the missing soldier Genesis Rhapsodos. It features numerous improvements over the original game – for example, the graphics have been converted to HD, with all 3D models, from characters to everything else, fully updated. Also, the dialogue is now fully voiced and there is a new arrangement for the soundtrack.
Some gameplay changes are expected to modernize the controls, but the biggest difference in Reunion is definitely the graphical leap from the original. Channel Cycu1 compared the cutscenes and gameplay from the trailer to Crisis Core on PSP, and the improvement is evident. Square Enix has redone the graphics, modeling, textures and lighting to be closer to Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Below you can take a look at the video.
