The Oulu police published a press release on Thursday asking the public for observations Terno Antero Lindgren from where I am.

The police justify the publication of the man’s name and picture by saying that they suspect he may commit new fraud crimes during his escape. According to the police, this is a person who is very difficult to reach, and the police want to reach the man “to prevent possible new crimes and damage”.

“Lindgren is wanted, and he is possibly staying in Sweden in the Stockholm area or in Finland,” the Oulu police say in a press release.

The police according to Lindgren has previously been convicted of several gross frauds in so-called fake police cases. The victims in his previous crimes have been elderly people.

In 2020, a man who pretended to be a policeman and cheated the elderly was sentenced to two years’ unconditional imprisonment in the Oulu district court for, among other things, several usurpations of official authority, attempted gross fraud, and gross payment instrument fraud.

At that time, most of the acts remained at the level of the company, but a man managed to cheat almost 180,000 euros from one victim together with another man.

Newspaper At the beginning of September, Kaleva reported that the man was sentenced to two years and eight months of unconditional imprisonment for a fake police association. In the Oulu district court, the man was charged with, among other things, three gross frauds and 26 cases of usurpation of official authority.
