“Murder is suspected here,” Högman confirms.
The victim of the crime is a 30-year-old woman known to the suspect through a bodybuilding hobby. The suspect was subject to a restraining order against the victim.
Police received some clues about the man’s movements following Monday’s release. However, the suspect has not yet been reached.
“We haven’t gotten in the man’s footsteps yet. We need more and more clues, ”says Högman.
Police suspects that the man has walked towards Westend after the suspected crime. According to the police, it is possible that the man suspected of the act may move in the Helsinki metropolitan area or in the wider area of Southern Finland.
The suspect is said to be a 173-centimeter-tall, middle-aged man with a stout and muscular physique. She has short hair and a gray stubble.
The suspect is wearing a brown or black jacket with a fur collar, black pants and a black beanie with dark stripes.
The police are not aware of the danger to outsiders, but the police urge them to avoid approaching the suspect themselves.
Police are asking for real-time sightings of the man to be reported to the 112 emergency number.
