Venezuela registers 224 new COVID cases
The Venezuelan authorities added four deaths and 224 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, 216 by community transmission and eight “imported”informed the Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez.
The eight imported cases” there are four passengers from Panama and four from the Dominican Republic.
Currently there 5,229 active cases, of which 4,288 are being treated in the public health system and 941 in private clinics.
President Nicolás Maduro, affirmed in his end-of-year message that 90% of the population is already vaccinated against COVID. (Eph)
