Community members Counter-Strike: Global Offensive reported that the game’s most prolific collector of items, with an inventory valued at over $ 2 millionhad his account hacked.
Recently, content creator ohnePixel said on Twitter that “over $ 2,000,000 worth of CS: GO skins have been hacked and stolen (some items have been moved / sold as we speak).” ohnePixel notes that “this is the most expensive inventory of all time, containing the most legendary items in the history of CS: GO”, including seven AWP Dragon Lores Souvenirs and the Karambit, a unique item that exists only because of a technical problem.
Apparently the hacked account belongs to HFB, a legendary figure in the CS: GO community. HFB’s real identity is hard to pin down, but community legend claims he is a member of the Saudi Arabian royal family who has raised millions of dollars worth of CS: GO items despite him not even playing.
please spread this
if someone from @csgo/@steam sees this, message me and i’ll get you in contact with him to get this sorted
half (?) of the items got quicksold and are gone, other half (?) sent to the hacker’s steam account and are sitting on a trade hold

For now, players speculate that this hacker attack is due to a Steam exploit, but currently there is no confirmation yet. As of now, Valve hasn’t made any comments about it.
