Corsair presents the new MP700 PRO SE SSDs for gamers and creators

Corsair is among the most active hardware manufacturers on the market thanks to a range of products that touch various segments of the PC world and which are periodically renewed with cutting-edge technical specifications.
The latest news from the American company are represented by the SSD MP700 PRO SE, memories compatible with the PCIe 5.0 standard capable of reaching speeds almost twice higher than those of the previous generation. Let’s find out all the details.

Performance for gamers and creators

Corsair’s new MP700 PRO SE SSDs are compatible with PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 standards and thanks to the latest NAND flash memories they are able to reach speeds of sequential reading up to 14,000 MB/s and of sequential writing up to 12,000 MB/sdoubling fifths of performance compared to PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

Available in 2TB and 4TB versionMP700 PRO SE is therefore ready to fully support the latest platforms based on 14th Gen Intel and AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs, as well as the latest generation motherboards, while remaining compatible with the PCIe 4.0 standard.

Corsair MP700 PRO SE adopts the standard M.2 2280 and can therefore be mounted on a wide range of systems. Although it is able to guarantee good performance in any context, the new Corsair SSD is also available in version equipped with active heat sink capable of limiting problems due to thermal throttling.

The waterblock variant

Gamers and professionals who want to push the performance of the new memory to the maximum can count on the MP700 PRO SE unit in Hydro X waterblock variantwhich can be installed in any custom loop circuit thanks to the 1/4” fittings.

Finally, the new SSDs can count on the CORSAIR SSD Toolbox software which offers features for customizing the drive and updating the firmware.

Corsair MP700 PRO SE in the 4 TB version is available on the official website at the price of 719.99 Euroswhile the Hydro X version is available at price of 739.99 Euros. At the moment the 2 TB variant does not appear to be available in our country.
