Combined Corona infection was diagnosed in the combined national team – the hill coach and equipment technician are not involved in the Ruka World Cup

Kuusamon The Finnish national team, which is preparing for the opening weekend of the World Cup in Ruka, has been diagnosed with a coronavirus infection. The infection was detected by the Slovenian hill jumping technician of the national team Aljoša Brancilla.

The Ski Association says in its releasethat the symptoms of Branc, who traveled to Finland from Central Europe, began in Finland. Branc was quarantined after the symptoms appeared, and he did not work for the team in Ruka.

National team hill coach Falko Krismayr traveled in the same car with Branc from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport towards Ruka, and he misses the opening of the World Cup due to Korona exposure. In the Ruka World Cup, the combined team is responsible for hill coaching Kimmo Savolainen.

The combined athletes will compete for the World Cup points in Ruka on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
