Claudia Portocarrero, friend and ex-partner of the composer, spoke to the press. She looked up which hospital he was admitted to. She also stated that she has already contacted Aguilar's family.

Through a phone call to the show program 'Everything leaks', Claudia Portocarrero pointed out that she found out about the fact through a person who notified her about the internment of the interpreter of 'My last tears'. When she was asked why his partner did not notify her, she assured that she respects their decisions in wanting to keep the situation private.

“I found out through a person who came to the hospital and told me that they had seen Dilbert. Then I started calling him and he didn't answer me; then, Jazmín (her partner) answered me. I asked him how he was and he didn't answer me. What is Dilbert Aguilar's health status?

In an interview with the same space Panamericana Television, cardiologist Marco Almerí clarified that the singer had arrived at the hospital with a lung infection and that 10 days before he had a fever.
