Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been announced with a trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase: Sandfall Interactive’s new action RPG will make its debut during 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass subscribers will be able to play it from day one.
Set in a fantasy world inspired by the French Belle Epoque, an enigmatic and terrifying figure awakens every year and paints a fateful number on his monolith, indicating the age of those destined to vanish into thin air due to an inexorable curse.
The world’s last hope is Expedition 33, but time is running out: this team’s number will be called in a few hours and our goal will be to eliminate the creature that establishes all this, thus trying to break the curse that risks destroy everything.
