Peasant sayings, mathematics and passion are always related to each other. Let’s take an example using ‘cat hatching’, or ‘1 + 1 = 2’ and Ferrari.
We can add the variables, in the people of Fabio Baldini, Giancarlo Fisichella and Rubens Barrichello. And now we go to do the job.
The summer solstice 2022 gave us a nice surprise, the scene of the event was the Autodromo Piero Taruffi di Vallelunga.
It is a real event, with Rubens Barrichello returning to driving a racing Ferrari after 17 years; the Brazilian driver was an official driver of the Scuderia di Maranello from 2000 to 2005, six seasons.

Data in hand, the bible of F1 brings us back 326 GPs with 322 starts, record of GP disputed held for twelve years, 11 wins and 68 podiums, to complete there are 14 pole positions.
Rubens is descended from Italian immigrants, the grandparents were from the province of Treviso. The Vallelunga test was born from the brilliant mind of Fabio Baldini, a great enthusiast and Team Owner of the Baldini Scuderia with whom he won four titles in the Italian GT Championship, he is also responsible for the arrival of Jacques Villeneuve, he calls them “My madness”.
It all started with a meeting between Rubens and Fabio in Monza for the first of the Sprint Series, the Brazilian follows his son Eduardo who races in the Formula Regional by Alpine with Arden Motorsport.
One phone call leads to another and in the end this splendid “adventure” was born. In Vallelunga was present the “master” of the house, friend of Rubens and Fabio (now at home in the Team), Giancarlo Fisichella, as well as Eduardo.

A special moment, especially seeing Rubens at the wheel of a red car, never seen before and never seen Vallelunga. Different for the Brazilian, after all he doesn’t count the number, the result was that … he had a lot of fun, but he went really fast, constantly lowering the time, resulting in line with his teammate.
A champion is a champion, on and off the track, and Rubens certainly is. The Brazilian immediately adapted to the 488 GT3 of Scuderia Baldini which on the occasion sported a red livery, the inevitable # 27 and a white that recalls the reds driven by Rubens in the Ferrari era.
“I am happy with this experience, born by chance in Monza. It was nice to get back to driving a racing Ferrari after a long time, I immediately adapted to all those new buttons,” said Barrichello, who as mentioned before, went loud.

For Fisichella it was a return to his family: the Roman has been collaborating with Scuderia Baldini for several seasons, a relationship that goes beyond the track.
Giancarlo “stretched” with a few laps, more than anything else the test served to find a longtime friend, share the car with another F1 driver. Real relationships that last over time, the F1 that everyone wants.
“It was great to see Rubens again and share the car. He immediately adapted to everything, from the car to the circuit “, comments ‘Fisico’.
“I am happy to have found the Baldini and Fabio Scuderia to which I am very attached”.
At this point we must wait to see if the formula expressed at the beginning will give us what many would like: to see both of them again in a Ferrari.
