Ombudsman for children’s rights in Moscow Olga Yaroslavskaya criticized the bullying of the family of a nine-year-old student of Moscow State University Alisa Teplyakova. She said RIA Newsthat is in touch with the family.
The Children’s Ombudsman noted that the story of Alisa Teplyakova leaves no one behind. Yaroslavskaya herself is in touch with the family and met with the girl’s father.
“I want to draw attention to the fact that only the lazy did not start bullying the Teplyakov family. At first, everyone said that Alice could study at the university, but as soon as difficulties arose, everyone turned away. She is still a child, and it is not easy for her, ”she said.
Also, the children’s ombudsman added that from the point of view of legislation, the Teplyakovs do not violate anything. She recalled that the school was completed externally, the girl successfully passed the exam on a general basis and received a certificate. “The university accepted it, and suddenly problems began that the whole country is talking about. On the face of the confusion of the system, which simply does not know what to do with such children. But there are such children. And parents have the right to choose the educational route for their children, ”explained Yaroslavskaya.

She added that the task of the system is to create safe psychological, emotional and social conditions for any educational routes. According to her, it is now impossible to assess what kind of work and psychological risks Teplyakova achieves success in training. The current situation requires an expert assessment, the Ombudsman concluded.
Earlier, in an interview with Lenta.ru, home education specialist Alexei Semenychev asked “one of the main questions” to the father of a 9-year-old student at Moscow State University. “How did Teplyakov teach five children in one room?” he asked.
The admission of Alisa Teplyakova to the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University became known in the summer of 2021. The girl passed the exam and graduated from 11 classes as an external student. Parents announced their daughter’s plans to complete their studies at the university ahead of schedule. The faculty in January 2022 refused to develop an individual study plan for Teplyakova.
