The Juvenile Welfare Department of the Community Security Sector of Abu Dhabi Police organized an awareness forum, entitled “Childhood in that smile”, in order to reinforce the importance of the role of the child in society, coinciding with the International Children’s Day, which falls on November 20 of each year.
The Acting Director of the Juvenile Welfare Department, Colonel Bahian Hamad Bahian Al Ameri, confirmed that the juvenile child is one of our priorities, and we always strive to provide psychological, social and family care for him.
The forum was attended by psychological counselor Hind Salem Al-Badawi, the Public Prosecution Office of Aisha Ahmed Al-Kaabi from the Family and Child Prosecution in Abu Dhabi, Fatima Hamed Al-Rashidi from the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center, and a number of specialists in the community security sector in the Abu Dhabi Police, where they discussed the importance of families familiarizing themselves with the “Wadeema” law. And aspects of psychological and educational care for the child, and the procedures followed at the Ministry of Interior Child Protection Center, to enhance his safety and security.
