At the moment we only know that Charles III suffers from a prostate cancer and that the diagnosis arrived in the very early stages of the disease. “During the recent procedure performed on the King in hospital for a benign enlarged prostate condition – reads the statement from Buckingham Palace – a separate problem was noted, identified by subsequent diagnostic tests as a form of cancer. His Majesty today began a cycle of regular treatments for the duration of which doctors have suggested postponing public (external) commitments”.
