The departure of Óscar Rentería from the program that he had been leading together with César Augusto Londoño, after the departure of Iván Mejía, comes after he ended up being strongly criticized for his position in the delicate case for sexual abuse faced by the PSG footballer, Achraf Hakimi.

Less than 24 hours after his sudden departure from ‘El Pulso del Fútbol’ became known, Rentería chose to break his silence.

“I was very surprised by the latest determination made by Caracol Radio, which I had to accept but of course I will never share,” he said from the outset in a message posted on his social networks.

“The decision surprised many radio, press and television colleagues who sent their messages of solidarity, anticipating that this has to be considered as a serious failure against freedom of expression in our country,” he added.

This Thursday it was learned that Londoño’s partner in the program will be Caracol Radio journalist Juan Felipe Cadavid.

Londoño’s reaction to the departure of his partner was expected. The journalist referred to the issue and commented:

“Today I want to tell you that my good friend Óscar Rentería will no longer be with us on ‘El pulso del fútbol’. We wish Óscar the best in his new projects, in his life and I want to thank him for his ability, his professionalism, his dedication and his dedication to the program,” Londoño said.

“With him, ‘El pulso’ was always on top. In these four years and more where he accompanied us. I only have words of admiration and gratitude for Óscar,” he added.
