Hours have passed since it came to light that Carlota Corredera and her husband Carlos de la Maza have decided to end their love. The couple has decided to take separate paths and thus put an end to eleven years of relationship. The two have a daughter in common, Alba, who turned 9 last June.
It was this Saturday when Week confirmed their breakup through sources close to the couple. The outlet also claims that Carlota was expected to issue a statement in which she would make the separation public.
Said and done, because, hours later, the presenter confirmed the breakup on social networks. “Carlos and I are already a couplebut we will always be family. Our priority is the well-being of our daughter, a minor.so we ask for maximum respect and protection for her in these delicate moments. Thank you,” was the brief text with which Corredera ended their relationship.
In another publication, Corredera has launched a reflection: “There are many lives in one life. Always forward. Endless thanks to my network, you are everything to me. And thank you for all your love, it reaches me and passes through me. Happy Sunday,” shared the presenter, who is photographed in a beautiful sunset on the beach.
Their relationship has always remained discreet despite being one of the most prominent unions on television, at least, those formed behind the screen. Both They met when they were working at save mehe as cameraman and she as director of the Telecinco program.
Of them, it was only known that they both lived in a house located in the Madrid town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, a home that they acquired jointly in 2020 and where they lived with their daughter Alba.
As detailed in the aforementioned magazine, apparently there would have been no third parties involved and the absolute priority for both would now be the well-being of their daughter. In this way, both of them want their separation to affect her as little as possible, so they would be trying to ensure that the minor is harmed as little as possible by all of this.
Likewise, the couple will have to decide what happens with the production company that both founded jointly, Alalba Audiovisualas well as with other projects that both maintained, such as a documentary about orphans of gender violence that the journalist was preparing, although for which there was still no announced platform.
Both They married in 2013 at a wedding in which none of his closest people or other prominent television personalities were missing. The former presenter of Sálvame has also always had very good words towards her husband, with whom she has shared eleven years together full of projects and a joint path.
