CAPCOM has revealed the lineup of games it will showcase during the gamescom 2024to be held from 21st to 25th August in Germany. Among the most anticipated titles we find MONSTER HUNTER WILDwhich will be available to preview with over 60 gaming stations. In addition, the producer Ryozo Tsujimotothe executive director and art director Kaname Fujioka and the direct Yuya Tokuda will be present to release new information for all fans of the series.
There will also be space for STREET FIGHTER 6. Event attendees will have the chance to play as Terry Bogardthe next DLC coming to the game. CAPCOM Announces Full Lineup for Gamescom 2024
The global debut of Monster Hunter Wilds™, Ace Attorney Investigations™ Collection, Monster Hunter™ Now, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess™ and Terry Bogard’s first hands-on with Street Fighter™ 6
Milan – 7 August 2024 – Capcom, a world leader in video game development and publishing, today announced its full lineup for Gamescom 2024. After announcing the first gaming opportunity for Monster Hunter Wilds™ in June, the publisher confirms a series of other world-first hands-on opportunities coming to the Cologne fair this month.
Capcom’s exhibition area will host more than 60 playable demo stations for Monster Hunter Wilds covering an area of 900 square meters. Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, executive director and art director Kaname Fujioka, and director Yuya Tokuda will be on hand to provide further information on Capcom’s Gamescom stage. Monster Hunter Wilds will be released in 2025 for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, and Steam.
At the Capcom stand it will also be possible to try out the new guest character of the series in a world preview. Street Fighter™Terry Bogard, from the series Fatal Fury by SNK. Fans can get acquainted with Terry and try out his moves ahead of his release this fall. Terry Bogard can be purchased individually with Fighter Coins or unlocked for players who own or purchase the Year 2 Character Pass or Year 2 Ultimate Pass. Street Fighter™ 6 is available today on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
Visitors to the Capcom booth will also be able to try out for the first time Ace Attorney Investigations™ Collectionwhich will be released on September 6th of this year. Ace Attorney Investigations Collection brings together the two classic titles Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth And Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit in a long-awaited collection! Originally released for Nintendo DS™, the titles return with new and improved features. And for the first time ever, Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit will be available in the West after being available only in Japan.
The game too Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess™ will be playable, giving participants the chance to experience the thrill of its unique Kagura action strategy. As the protagonist Soh, the player is tasked with saving the villagers and restoring peace alongside the Mountain Priestess, Yoshiro, by eliminating the contamination infecting their land on Mount Kafuku. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available today on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Steam.
Completing the line-up is Monster Hunter™ Now! Capcom is thrilled to host Niantic at the Capcom booth with a dedicated area for Monster Hunter Nowto celebrate the game’s first anniversary. This exclusive space offers press and content creators a sneak peek at new monsters, content, and features for the upcoming new season. Attendees will be able to try out an epic themed AR camera feature Monster Hunter Now and take part in a special mission on the Gamescom EPIX platform for a chance to win amazing prizes.
Finally, Capcom’s show floor will feature a series of livestream programs broadcast throughout the show directly from Cologne to the rest of the world. As part of the livestreams, Capcom will broadcast presentations from Monster Hunter Wilds by the development team. For German-speaking audiences, Capcom will also offer daily shows from start to finish, produced and presented by RocketBeans TV.
