The new cars from BMW M Motosport will be available as Lego.
After the first Formula 1 race, the season has started again, nice! The racing world is of course a lot bigger than just Formula 1. The other classes are also on their way, in some cases with new cars. That is certainly the case at BMW with the arrival of the M Hybrid V8 and the new M4 GT3.
In collaboration with Lego, BMW M Motorsport allows you to purchase both vehicles as Speed Champions. Of course not as beautiful and cool as a technical product from the Danish block giant, but the advantage is that the Speed Champions are a lot more affordable. Not hundreds of euros for one car, but five bucks for two cars.
The two cars consist of a total of 676 building blocks. The vehicles are available now and will be in action during various races this year. The BMW M Hybrid V8 and the M4 GT3 can even be seen together, for example during the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 15 and 16.
Because BMW M Motorsport has collaborated with Lego, there are many beautiful details to see. It is a real BMW M Motorsport paint, for example. In addition, the Speed Champions are equipped with a detailed interior.
The roof of both racers can be removed to accommodate the drivers. One driver wears a red racing suit and the other a blue one. Both have black details. A color combination that is also reflected on the racing cars. That's nicely done.
Sales start today and the recommended retail price is €49.99. You can buy the BMW M Motorsport Lego Speed Champions series in store, online at Lego or at BMW and at various BMW dealers in the EU. Lego recommends a minimum age of 9 years to build this set.
