Ducati, Bulega under the knife
Day in hospital for Nicolò Bulega. The Ducati rider underwent surgery this morning at Oglio Po in Cremona to resolve chronic compartment syndrome due to strain in his right forearm which was aggravated during the opening of the 2024 season, at Phillip Island, where he made his debut in Superbike.
The intervention, carried out by Professor Alessio Pedrazzini, resolved a problem that has been present since last winter and which the Montmeló weekend has now made inevitable.

Bulega has plenty of time to recover from the operation, also because the next round of the World Championship is the Assen weekend of 19-21 April. The reigning Supersport champion has impressed everyone involved both in testing and in the championship, where he currently leads the standings.
