Bug Bunny has gone viral thanks to “Lightyear” and a controversy surrounding the animated film. Along these lines, confirmation has also arrived of the return of the legendary television rabbit in a new Looney Tunes musical film that promises to have all the style of Broadway. This is “Bye Bye Bunny: a musical Looney Tunes”, an upcoming HBO Max production.
During the Annecy Festival held in France, Warner Bros. announced that production has already started on the new adventure of the beloved animated characters after “Space Jam: a new era”, a sequel to the remembered 1996 classic with Michael Jordan: “ The game of the Century”.

As announced, the film will be suitable for the whole family and will have a direct premiere on the streaming platform of HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
The director will be Brandon Jeffords, who has already worked in the animation genre with Netflix’s “Vive”. In addition, he collaborated in “Rain of meatballs”.

According to the synopsis, after several years of fame on the Broadway stage, Bugs Bunny feels exhausted and has decided that it is time to retire to lead the life of a normal rabbit. Taking advantage of this, Daffy Duck has everything ready to replace him, but just before he succeeds he is kidnapped by an obsessed fanatic. Thus, the Looney Tunes rabbit begins a rescue mission.
