Broken Roads he dated quite a few problems, so much so that it caused many complaints among those who played it. Set in a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic Australia, with strong Fallout-style vibrations and a decidedly elaborate system of moral choices, it is still an interesting work, but one that needs fixing, as the developers of the Drop Bear Bytes studio themselves admitted after having seen the reactions in the Steam reviews.
In a post published on X, Drop Bear Bytes says he has failed to meet player expectations in some key areas of the game and that work on Broker Roads is therefore far from finished.
In the same post, an image was published showing what was planned for the future updates. In the meantime, let's start with the priorities: growth of manual levels for companions, improvements to random encounters, improvements in translations, adjustment of the logic of some missions, addition of animations and gestures.
For the future, however, we can expect: the ability to map buttons, a revision of the last chapter, more dialogue options, many more interactions with companions, more impactful equipment and more skill checks.
The first major update is expected to arrive on April 19, while the second is scheduled for May.
