With its beaches, wild carnival and sultry nightlife, Rio de Janeiro already has a reputation for being raunchy, but it took it up a notch on Friday when porn movies started playing on the screens of the domestic airport of the Brazilian city.
News of the apparent hack first appeared on social media, when shocked and bewildered travelers shared images of screens inside the Santos Dumont airport playing explicit videos.

“Looks like a lot of people missed their flights today“A Twitter user joked. “Welcome to Aeroporno Santos Dumontanother wrote.
Brazil’s airport operator, Infraero, said the monitors that showed the porn videos are advertising screens managed by a private companyclarifying that they do not provide official information.

“Infraero took the corresponding legal actions and presented the case to the federal police“, he said in a statement.
“The monitors in question will remain off in our airport network until the company responsible for them guarantees their safety,” the operator clarified.
