The global offering of shares by Braskem for the sale of shares in Petrobras and the Novonor group, ex-Odebrecht, will allocate 10% of the total lot offered to retail, according to the preliminary prospectus of the operation published on the website of the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) at the beginning this Saturday morning. Up to 154.9 million preferred shares of the series A of Braskem will be sold, on B3 and abroad, in an operation that, considering the closing price on Thursday, 13, will generate R$ 8 billion.
Of the portion destined for retail, 90% will have lock up of 45 days. That is, for this period, counting from the completion of the transaction, the holders of these securities will not be able to trade them. Only 1% of the global offer will be offered to retail without any locks.
Also in accordance with the provisions of the prospectus, there will be no placement of additional or supplementary lots. The price of the shares will be determined after the presentation of the offer to institutional investors. The lead coordinator for the global offering is Morgan Stanley Bank. They also operate in the JPMorgan, Bradesco BBI, BTG Pactual, Citi, Itaú BBA, Santander and UBS BB operations.
