In any case, the world of running is also surrounded by many myths and hoaxes, such as its supposed benefits (not confirmed by science) of running on an empty stomach to burn more fat. the false claim that more kilometers the better you work performance or the theory that you don’t need much training and that going out only on race days allows you to achieve better results.
Another of the most typical and persistent is to think that running contributes to destroying the knees. Experts in the field confirm that people with joint problems should take special caution and confirm, at the same time, that running properly does not destroy the most important joint in the human body. Now María de los Ángeles García, or better known as Boticaria García for her health dissemination, wanted to talk about it.

The pharmacist and nutritionist has, in fact, just launched a new channel on social networks (@tristrasymas) together with Javier Butragueño, doctor in Health and Sports Sciences and both have explained in one of their first videos if it is true that running destroys the knees. «What can I say to all those people who tell me to stop running because Am I going to break my knees?», she asks.
