Problems for Microsoft’s Bing search engine, down since the morning of today, Thursday 23 May 2024. As the DownDetector website reports, the first reports arrived just before 8am, to explode in the following hours.
The malfunction mainly concerned access to the Bing homepage, with error messages when searching from both desktop and mobile. Problems also for all other services, such as ChatGPT, Copilot or DuckDuckGo.
Microsoft, for now, has not released any statement, neither on the origin of the problem, nor on the expected time for resolution.
