It was launched in 2021, but around the world it has traveled over 30 million km making 12 million deliveries: it can be said that it was just born, but the Gmw Taskman did not take much to collect important numbers. And now the Biliti Electric three-wheeler, which closely resembles the Piaggio Ape, is preparing to land in the United States as well, to replicate the success of zero-emission tuk tuks on American soil.

After the United Kingdom, Japan, the Middle East, India and Africa, those of Biliti have decided to put the American continent in the crosshairs of the Taskman. Protagonist of a star-striped launch that was staged at the last Los Angeles AutoMobility, this electric three-wheeler designed for the fateful last mile can be declined in numerous configurations to adapt to the most diverse uses: capable of a maximum speed of about 50 km / h, Taskman can carry up to a maximum of 680 kg and has a range of about 180 km, guaranteed by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries in about three and a half hours. But that’s not all, because the latter have been designed to be easily replaceable and therefore expand the range of action of this small truck: Biliti has in fact devised SmartSwapp, a network of stations where operators can stop and leave their own in charge. battery and replace it with an interchangeable one at its full capacity. The operation, which according to the company would take less than a minute, is facilitated by a smartphone app that shows the driver the map of the charging hubs. The price for the US market has not yet been disclosed, but it should not be far from $ 11,000.
