The new edition of Beijing Express kicks off today, in its second edition by Sky. Visible exclusively on Sky and streaming only on Now, the adventure will see this year’s couples explore fantastic, insidious and surprising territories and get to know extraordinary cultures but far from their own.
This season’s itinerary will develop – in ten episodes – along “La via delle Indie”, a route that will lead the competitors to discover India, a multifaceted and enormous country in Southeast Asia, then racing towards Malaysian Borneo and finally in the direction of Cambodia, where the final goal of this edition will be set in the fantastic scenery of Angkor, the most important archaeological site in the country as well as one of the most important and most visited in the Asian continent. The protagonists of this year’s adventure will be guided by the conductors Costantino Della Gherardesca and Enzo Miccio.
It starts with the first stop in the metropolis of Mumbaiin particular, the curtain on the Beijing Express itinerant challenges will rise in the large square in front of the Gateway of India, the commemorative arch overlooking the port which represents the gateway to the city and the entire country, as well as one of the most famous and visited.
A series of missions will lead the contestants among the bright contrasts of the most densely populated metropolis in the world, branching off the path through the colorful alleys and teeming markets, full of traditional aromas and flavours. Travelers will leave the sprawling Mumbai, land first in the small town of Wai and then continue on to Satara, discovering ancient customs and traditions. Here, in front of the temple of Shiva, one of the most important Indian deities, the final goal of the first stage will await them.
