Abuse allegations against US rapper Snoop Dogg

Immediately before his appearance at the Super Bowl football show spectacle, US media reported allegations against hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg. A woman whose name is not known accuses the 50-year-old of sexually abusing her after a concert in 2013, as numerous US media reported on Friday night (February 11).
A lawsuit had been filed in a federal court in Los Angeles, the broadcaster NBC reported, citing court documents. His client “no longer wanted to be intimidated and silenced,” the broadcaster quoted the woman’s attorney, Matt Finkelberg, as saying.
Snoop Dogg previously posted an Instagram post on Wednesday urging his fans to “be careful”: “Gold digging season has begun,” he wrote.
The appearance of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre (56) during the Super Bowl halftime break on Sunday (February 13, Monday night CET) is eagerly awaited in the United States. “We want to make sure everyone knows it’s going to be one of the best halftime shows ever,” said Dr. Dre at a news conference in Los Angeles on Thursday. “We will show how professional and how great we can be on stage and how exciting we are for the fans.”
The two musicians are to perform the halftime show in the football final between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals together with Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. For the first time, the show is all about hip-hop, R&B and rap.
