Nintendo and Platinum Games have announced that Bayonetta 3 will be released on Switch on October 28th, exclusively on the hybrid console. The game has been awaited since the last trailer, shown during a Direct a few months ago, and a new movie was released on the occasion. In these new gameplay scenes we discover a new controllable character, Viola, who was glimpsed in the previous video. In this third installment of the series, the witch Bayonetta will have to join forces with some old acquaintances, as well as with Viola and many other versions of herself, to prevent the homunculus, biological weapons created by man, from sowing death and destruction. Players will use Bayonetta’s weapons and new technique called Demonic Camouflage to eliminate enemies with demonic combos and powers. At the game’s launch on October 28, the Trinity Masquerade Edition will also be available. This edition will include a 200-page full-color artbook with illustrations by Bayonetta 3 and three covers inspired by the trilogy of Bayonetta, one for each game. More details on how to pre-order the Trinity Masquerade Edition will be announced in the future. In addition, an on-board version of the Bayonetta original for Nintendo Switch.
