The Teodoro Higuera League of Los Mochis asserted the locality by winning the championship of the Regional Baseball Tournament Premoyote category (5-6 years) of Little League Baseball affiliated with Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
The Mochitenses beat the Liga Conno de Hermosillo in the grand final with a score of 14 runs to 13. Both teams secured a ticket to the National Series that will take place in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
The Sonorans went blank in the opening of the first inning, while the locals rang 3 times. For the second episode, Conno scored his first 2 lines, but Teodoro Higuera responded with 5 to increase his advantage. In the third inning, those from Hermosillo scored again on 2 occasions, but in the closing, those from Los Mochis scored another 3. The fourth inning again brought two runs for the visitors, for 5 of the owners of the field. In the fifth and final round, the Conno League had its best harvest by scoring 7, which were ultimately not enough.
With the wood for the winners, Adrián Pérez went 4-4 with a pair of doubles, Julio Valenzuela 4-4 with a double, Miguel Valdez 3-3, Iker Lugo 2-2, Jaime Carrillo and Tadeo Sánchez 4-3 and Edwin López 2-2. For the defeated, Gael Mada 4-4, Erick Gutiérrez and Alfredo Domínguez 2-2.
The hosts tied the pass to Nacional after beating the IMSS League of Mexicali in the semifinals with a tight score of 16 runs for 15.

For its part, the Conno League of Hermosillo had fewer problems by beating the Guaymas Fishing Sector League with a score of 20 by 14. The people from the capital scored 4 in the first and second, 5 in the third, 6 in the fourth and 1 in the fifth.
