Barça guard Kevin Punter has been named the best player in the Euroleague for the month of October. The American has averaged 18.6 points, 2.4 assists and 1.4 recoveries per game, with an average rating of 19.9. In addition, he has stood out in triples, with a 47.2% success rate (17/36).
Except in the debut in the competition against Zalgiris, where he achieved a rating of 11, in the other six games he has achieved 15 or more. His best performance was in Belgrade, against Red Star, with 26 points and 3 assists.
Punter is third in the Euroleague in terms of scoring (130 points) and sixth in terms of rating (19.9). The last Barça player to be MVP of the month was Nikola Mirotic in December 2021. In historical terms, it is the fourteenth time that a Barça player has achieved this recognition.
