The plant, inaugurated in 2023, is located 85 kilometers south-west of Budapest, near the lake of the same name, one of the favorite tourist destinations for Hungarians.
After the event at the beginning of May at Mugello, with 70 starters, the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe is preparing to experience another weekend of entertainment and adrenaline in the land of Hungary, with the new 296 Challenge and the 488 Challenge Evos that will compete in the five classes of the championship.
Pirelli Trophy
In the main class, confirmations are expected from Bence Valint (Ferrari Budapest – Rossocorsa): on his home circuit the young Hungarian presents himself as leader of the classification thanks to the first and second places achieved in Tuscany.
Behind him, seven points behind, the expert Franz Engstler (Gohm Motorsport – Engstler), winner of the 2022 Coppa Shell and the 2023 Trofeo Pirelli Am, will try to undermine him, immediately scoring in the first test at Mugello.
Also present was Philipp Baron (Gohm Motorsport – Baron Racing Team), author of two consistent tests and a pole position in the inaugural round, while Giacomo Altoè (Emil Frey Racing) makes his seasonal debut, fresh from a podium in the Misano GT test World Challenge Europe Sprint.
The exciting challenge between the Am drivers will see the top three in the general classification compete, one point apart from each other: Claus Zibrandtsen (Formula Racing) and Hendrik Viol (Scuderia Praha Racing), who achieved a first and a third place each at Mugello, and Marco Zanasi (CDP – Pinetti Motorsport), author of two second places. There will be no shortage of other contenders for success including the British James Owen (Meridien Modena – Engstler), twice fourth at Mugello.

There are 21 drivers registered in the Am class, which saw the debutant Zois Skrimpias (Ineco – Reparto Corse RAM) excel in Tuscany with a first and a second place.
488
Among the drivers in the class still featuring the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evos will be Fabrizio Fontana (Formula Racing) at the start in Hungary, capable of a victory, a second place and two pole positions on his debut at Mugello.
