Only a few hours until the global launch of Back 4 BloodHowever, this is a game that you must play yes or yes with friends. We say the above because here in Atomix We have already been playing it, and we can confirm that its mode single-player it is highly forgotten.
Why do we say this? To begin with, playing with artificial intelligence is not fun at all, and secondly, because it is practically impossible to progress when you play on your own. The following message appears when you launch single-player mode:
“Maps and targets will be adjusted. Matchmaking and player invites are disabled. Obtain Supply Points is disabled. Your statistics will not be recorded. All progress you make for Achievements is disabled. “
So yeah, as you can see, playing solo doesn’t offer any kind of progression. The good news is that its developers are already working on a solution to all of this:
“Attention Cleaners!
We’ve heard your frustrations regarding solo progression and are working on ways to fix the issue. Thank you all for your patience and feedback all this time – we will have more news for you as we work on potential methods to fix this. ”
❗ Attention Cleaners! ❗
We have heard your frustrations about progression in solo mode and are discussing ways to address the issue. Thank you for your patience and feedback at this time – we’ll have more news as we strategize on potential ways to make it happen.

Back 4 Blood will be released this October 12 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
Editor’s note: I’ve been playing for a few days Back 4 Blood And I can confirm that indeed, the single player mode feels more like a tutorial than something fully developed. We are definitely in front of a game created specifically to enjoy with friends.
