Actress-singer Jennifer Hudson is the second black woman among Whmi, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winners after Whoopi Goldberg. Hudson won the Tony Award on Sunday for his musical A Strange Loop.

Actor and singer Jennifer Hudson joins the rare Egot winners after winning the Tony Award yesterday, says British Broadcasting Corporation BBC. The so-called Egot Club refers to individuals who have won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards in their careers.

Hudson received the Tony Award for Musical A Strange Loopwho won the Best Musical award. He received the award as a producer along with 34 other musical producers, including a drag artist RuPaul, Mindy Kaling and Billy Porter.

Hudson, 40, is the seventeenth winner of all four prestigious film, theater and music awards. She is the second black woman in the category Whoopi Goldbergin after.

Hudson won the Best Female Oscar for 2006 film Dreamgirls. Hudson has two Grammys, and he got an interactive one last year Baby Yaga participation in the production of the animation.
