Audi’s electric range is ready to expand with the new Q6 e-tron, which will debut in three different variations. The debut of the brand’s new battery-powered SUV with the four rings seems to be really close: recently a new prototype in the guise of quasi-production of the model was spotted wearing a camouflage livery. Unveiling is lacking less and less of the new Audi Q6 e-tron, which is expected for the first part of 2022, and the fact that the automaker with the four rings is stepping up road tests of the model are proof of this.
According to the latest rumors, in terms of dimensions the new Q6 e-tron will be similar to the Q5 in the thermal version. Nonetheless, the next-to-debut battery-powered SUV appears to boast a more sporty characterthanks to its pronounced shoulders, thinner, higher-mounted LED headlights, and particularly aerodynamic roofline. Aesthetically speaking, a covered Singleframe front grille steals the show at the front, while at the rear you can see lights that are thought not to be those of the final production of the model. We remind you that, unlike the other Audi branded SUVs produced on the basis of the MLB platform, the new Q6 e-tron will be built on the new DPI architecture dedicated to electric vehicles developed in collaboration with Porsche.
The engine specifications of the new battery-powered Audi branded SUV. According to Carscoops, the lithium-ion battery pack could boast a capacity of up to 100 kWh, with the maximum power of the electric motor that on the top-of-the-range variants will be able to reach 469 hp. Adaptive air suspension, four-wheel drive and torque vectoring technology will equip the new Audi Q6 e-tron. For the prices we will have to wait for the official debut of the model.
