The assassination attempt on the ex-premier took place on Friday, July 8, at 11:30 local time (05:30 Moscow time). Abe fell, bleeding. He was hospitalized in an ambulance.
It is known that there were two shots, the former head of government fell after the second, as the bullet hit the chest. The police said that in the first minutes after the assassination attempt, Abe was conscious, but then, in the process of being transported to the hospital, his condition became critical “with cardiac and pulmonary arrest.”
