From the stage of Computex 2024, ASUS presented a series of new laptops that will enrich the already large lineup of the Taiwanese company.
After the two ASUS TUF A16 and A14 models, the company has announced the arrival of the new one ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors with over 45 TOPS NPU. Here are all the details on the new model.
The new ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16
In the wake of the little one from the house, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 that we have just reviewed, the Taiwanese company has announced the arrival of a new version of the ROG Zephyrus G16 equipped with the latest processors AMD Ryzen AI 300 complete with NPU of over 45 TOPS.
The graphics sector is instead entrusted to the GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop with support for HDR, G-Sync, NVIDIA Optimus Advance and TDP up to 105W in Dynamic Boost. Up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 7500 MHz and SSD with PCIe 4.0 support complete the memory compartment, while the 90 Wh battery with 50% fast charging in thirty minutes should guarantee good autonomy.
The ROG Nebula display with OLED technology and 16:10 ratio, offers a 2.5K resolution with a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz, with peak brightness of up to 500 nits and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
The iconic design of the Zephyrus series remains unchanged, but the general optimization of the system has allowed it to reach a thickness of 1.49 cm with a weight of 1.85 kg, also thanks to the new liquid metal cooling unit and three fans. Of note is the new keyboard configuration which includes the dedicated button for Copilot.
Connectivity is complete and brings two important new features, such as support for WiFi 7 and the new SD Express 7.0 reader. In short, ASUS’ Computex is also dedicated to “AI PCs”.
