After a long wait, here’s the very first trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, starring Basim, appeared in Valhalla as Eivor’s mentor (and more). The trailer, as usual, is in CGi and always of the highest quality.
The protagonist therefore is Basim, but much younger than expected and will probably tell of his entry into the brotherhood of the occult (not yet Assassins), in 9th century Baghdad. We can see the use of artisanal, smoke and explosive bombs and above all the use of the feather to mark the end of the goal.
The title will arrive in 2023 but the Collector’s Edition was shown with the additional mission with the famous “40 thieves”. More news will come very soon, but don’t miss the developer analysis of the trailer as well. “Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Wrath of the Druids expansion, Assassin’s Creed Mirage invites players to immerse themselves in beautiful Baghdad at the height of its golden age. The game offers a narrative-based action and adventure experience with an intriguing and mature story, charismatic protagonists, a majestic freely navigable city and traditional yet modernized gameplay heavily focused on parkour, stealth and assassinations.“”Players will take on the role of a new hero, Basim Ibn Is’haq, a unique street thief with a mysterious past, who will join the Hidden Ones in Alamut on a quest for answers. In the original version, Basim’s mentor Roshan will be voiced by Emmy-winning actress Shohreh Aghdashloo. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a tribute to the series and a particularly special tribute to the first Assassin’s Creed. The game announcement was accompanied by a special cinematic trailer featuring original music composed by Brendan Angelides, who is also the composer of the game’s soundtrack.”
