An unusual robbery occurred in Lomas de Zamora, Argentina, when a group of journalists attended to the complaint made by a father of a family, whose wife and daughters are missing.
It all started when, during a live broadcast of the program ‘Cortá por Lozano’, the chronicler Heber Ybañez was trying to find out how to file a disappearance reportalong with the affected man, in the Villa Albertina Local Police Unit, since no one wanted to take charge of the case.
How are they not going to rob us live if nobody protects us?
What none of them expected is that, upon leaving the police center, locals informed them that Ybañez and his team had been robbed down the street.
“They are stealing our truck, Vero,” the journalist reported as he quickened his pace to get closer to where the vehicle was. “Who are they robbing?”, the driver asked, “U.S!”, Ybañez reaffirmed.

The robbery live and direct
Before the event, the cameraman and the journalist ran to where the truck of ‘Telefe’, the channel on which the program is broadcast, was located. Upon arrival, they found the vehicle with broken windows and an open trunk.without the technical equipment that was inside.
Ybañez reported that the three thieves, who apparently traveled by bicycle and on foot, had taken everything used for the production, in addition to the suitcases in which they kept their personal belongings.

Today, in Lomas, while we were doing the coverage, a boy approached us and told us that they were stealing our mobile. We arrived and they had opened the hatch, taking a tripod and batteries. Thank God we are all fine. An unfortunate situation that neighbors suffer daily pic.twitter.com/7cKGrLB52M

The outrageous fact caused Heber’s companions, who were in the recording studio, were visibly annoyed by the inefficiency of the Police, who could do nothing to stop the armed criminals, even when there was a Mobile Unit a few streets away.
“We are unprotected in Argentina, How are they not going to rob us live if nobody protects us?”, affirmed one of the presenters.
